Apple iPad Pro 2018 Specifications
The all-new Apple iPad Pro 2018 tablet comes in two display sizes such as 11-inch and 12.9-inch. It features Apple’s new Liquid Retina Display with edge-to-edge IPS LCD panel for some lower cost. The Apple’s latest and greatest a 7nm-based A12X Bionic chip is the flagship and more powerful than the previous generation A11 chipset. Apple removed the TouchID biometric from iPad Pro 2018 and features the new improved FaceID which works with Dot Projector, Infrared Camera, Infrared Light, Truedepth front camera, and Flood Illuminator. The new iPad Pro 2018 edition tablet features USB Type-C port instead of a proprietary Lightning port which was used by Apple for so many years. So, now the accessibility and usage will be increased for iPad Pro users. The new iPad Pro sports a single 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Quad-LED TrueTone flash. It can also record up to 4K videos @60fps.

New Apple Pencil
The new iPad Pro 2018 bundled with the new Apple Pencil which can now be attached magnetically and can be charged as well. There is no lightning port required for Apple Pencil charging. Hopefully, in 2019 Apple will introduce wireless Apple Pencil charging as well. If you want to buy it separately for previous generation iPads, it will cost $129.
Connectivity, Battery, and iOS
Both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2018 tablets include connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth V5.0 LE with A2DP and EDR, GPS, dual Nano-SIM (secondary e-SIM), USB Type-C port, 18W fast charging etc. There are two variants available for Cellular + Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Only (Non-Cellular) device. The device is running on iOS 12.1 out-of-the-box. However, there is no confirmation about the battery capacity till now, the company claimed it will go up to 10 hours of battery life. It will be available in Space Grey and Silver color options.
Price and Availability
The new Apple iPad Pro 2018 tablet 11-inch and 12.9-inch (Wi-Fi Only) will cost $799 and $999 for the base model up to $1550 and $1750 for the highest model. If you want Cellular + Wi-Fi variant, then it will cost around $150 extra with the base price. The device will go on sale from Nov 7.
