Nokia made a comeback to the smartphone industry earlier this year as the Finnish company was out of the industry and halted the production of their smartphones after selling the company’s manufacturing rights to HMD Global. Earlier, at the MWC in Barcelona, Nokia released a new lineup of smartphones under the Nokia brand which were named as the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and the Nokia 6 and also released a classic revamped version of the Nokia 3310. Now, interestingly, the latest Nokia smartphones all run Android OS on top and the company recently released the first flagship smartphone which has been named as the Nokia 8.
Now, we have also known that the Android 8.0 Oreo update which is the latest version of Android that was announced by Google in August has already been available for Google Pixel and Pixel 2 devices and some of the Nexus devices. Also, Nokia has promised that the company will give the fastest updates to the latest version of Android as and when its available so we are going to give you a status update on when are the Nokia phones expected to get the latest update.
Nokia 3 and 5 Android 8.0 Oreo update
Nokia released the budget smartphones from the company which was the Nokia 3 and 5 earlier this year as we have already mentioned. These smartphones will get the Android 8.0 Oreo sooner but the company’s priority will be on delivering updates to its premium phones so this phones listed above are expected to get the update by early next year.

Nokia 6 Android 8.0 Oreo update
Talking about the Nokia 6 from the company, it is a premium mid-range device from the company and the update to Android 8.0 Oreo for this device will be on priority and the update could arrive as soon as the end of this year.
Nokia 8 Android 8.0 Oreo update
Nokia 8 is the flagship smartphone from the company and the update to the latest version should first arrive on this smartphone so we should expect the update for Nokia 8 as soon as next month which is November 2017.
Nokia 9 Android 8.0 Oreo update
Now, the last device on the list is the unannounced rumored flagship device from Nokia which is the Nokia 9. This device is expected to get released with Android 8.0 Oreo by default and a full-screen display with dual camera setup.
