How to use Bifrost to download Samsung firmware

This Bitfrost tool is unique among all the Samsung firmware tools, which brings a better user interface and cleaner experience. Its in-app update feature lets you run the latest build.

You need only the CSC code, device model, and sometimes the IMEI to grab firmware for any Galaxy phone or tablet.

  1. Extract the downloaded ZIP or TAR file to a folder
  2. Open the folder and run Bifrost or Bifrost.exe
  3. Allow the app in your antivirus if you see a security warning
  4. Enter your device model number and the CSC code
  5. Click Check for Updates to fetch the latest firmware
  6. Review the firmware info and click Download
  7. Wait for the download and decryption to finish
  8. Extract the firmware ZIP to get AP BL CP CSC and HOME_CSC files
  9. Use Odin or another flashing tool to install the firmware

If the official OTA update isn’t available, you can sideload the firmware manually. First, use Bifrost to download the correct firmware ZIP for your device model and CSC code. You can then flash the firmware with Odin by putting your phone into Download mode, loading the AP, BL, CP, and CSC files, and clicking Start in Odin. This way you get the update even if OTA is delayed. Hope this guide helps, and feel free to let us know in the comment section down below if you need any assistance.
