AT&T has been rolling out plenty of devices in its network and there has been an addition to the growing list of devices getting the updates. The latest of the smartphones is the ZTE ZMAX 2 which is getting the OTA update to their devices on the AT&T network. This update gives the devices the latest security patch which is of June and the device will be updated with more security as the June security patch has been known to fix many vulnerabilities present in the Android operating system.
The update is for Android 6.0.1 and weighs just 6MB. If you haven’t received the update, you will soon get it as OTA update. ZTE ZMAX 2 bearing model number Z958 at AT&T is receiving the June security patch. The update, which comes as an OTA update has Build number Z958V1.0.0B26. The update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. You can also expect performance and stability improvements from the update.
As far as the update is concerned, there are few things that have to be taken care of while you receive the update. First of all, the device which is receiving the update should be connected to a stable and private Wifi connection in order to make sure that the update has been downloaded fully and safely to the device on which it is going to be installed. Also, make sure that the device is connected to a power socket or ensure that the device has at least 50% of battery left so that there is power remaining on the device after the update has been installed on your device.
