Samsung has been recently rumored to launch the latest version of the Galaxy S8 in the US which will be called the Galaxy S8 Active. The Galaxy S8 Active is the rugged version of the Galaxy S8 which is the flagship Samsung phone this year. The company launches the Active phone exclusively in the US and the smartphone have been sold via the US carriers. Talking about the Active lineup of the smartphone, one of the Galaxy Active device which is the Galaxy S6 Active is getting the update with the latest security patch from the US carrier. This carrier is the AT&T network which is the largest carriers in the US.
The AT&T carrier has been selling the Galaxy S6 Active and the carrier has been considerably quick to release the latest July security patch to the device. The update to the July security patch is much needed as the security patch updates keep the security of the device intact and the July security patch has been known to solve the many security issues that were present in the previous builds of Android. Talking about the rollout of the update, AT&T has already released the update as an OTA and the update should reach your device in the coming days. The OTA rollouts are usually done in a phased manner so you should wait for the update to come to your device.
