Xiaomi has recently released the latest version of MIUI which is the default skin of Android which comes pre-built with all the devices that have been and are released by the company. As far as the latest update to the MIUI is concerned, the MIUI 8 is now succeeded by MIUI 9 and the company has already announced the update last month. As far as the latest version of MIUI is concerned, the Xiaomi Mi 5x smartphone which was released by the company last month comes with the latest version of MIUI. Talking about the update of the latest version to the other devices, the company has already promised that the update will be available on most of the Xiaomi devices that have been launched by the company.
Talking about the latest features and additions to the custom UI from Xiaomi, MIUI 9, we have known that the company has focused on improving the battery life as well as stability of its UI rather than stuffing it with many features. However, there have been many additions to the latest version of MIUI which is either available in Stock Android with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat like the Split Screen feature as well as new feature additions like the Dual Space feature where the phone can have two or more instances of the same app to run different accounts.
Now, we have received some news about the testing of MIUI 9 on the Mi branded smartphones. The beta test of the MIUI 9 will be starting from August 23 for some of the smartphones released by the company recently.
