Amazon is supposedly working on a new messaging app called anytime. Apparently, an user received a survey regarding the features for the app. While there is already a myriad of messaging apps out there, the chances of people using one more new app is very less.
However, Amazon has planned to take on the competition by offering exciting and useful features along with the anytime messaging app. For starters, you get access to a lot of Amazon services like shopping, making reservations and tracking your orders.
You can perform these activities right from the app. You could even combine with your friends by creating a group and then shop or make reservations by discussing together. The app is also expected to offer other basic features like voice and video calling along with text messaging.
While Anytime allows you to send and receive videos, images, GIFs, change the colour of your chat screen, add filters and effects to your photos and videos much like every other messaging app out there, it stands out by the fact that unlike those apps you do not need the number of a person to start a conversation. You can just use the name of the person to begin chatting.
The app will be available for all platforms including Android, iOS and windows and it also has built-in encryption facilities so you don’t have to worry about security. While there is no specific date mentioned about the release of the app, considering that surveys are being taken already, you can expect it to launch anytime soon.
