HMD Global has started rolling out Nokia 8 Android 9 Pie update officially via OTA. The Nokia 8 was launched back in 2017 and it came with Android 7.1 Nougat version out-of-the-box.
However, the Android Pie update for Nokia 8 (2017) model has already been started receiving the OTA via batches. The update is rolling out in India, Romania, and the Netherlands region at first. Please note that the update is incremental and can take a few days to roll out globally.
The Nokia 8 Android 9 Pie update weighs around 1.7GB with the Build number of V5.14 featuring February Google Security Patch 2019-02.
