The latest EMUI 9.0 skin introduced in India by Huawei recently. However, the new UI will arrive first in Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro devices. Meanwhile, the Honor Mate 10 Pro already received Android Pie based EMUI 9.0 update and now some of the Honor Play device users are getting Android 9 Pie beta update in batches. The update is available with the serial number of COR-L29 only for the Honor Play devices. The model currently sold in the Middle East and Europe region. The new EMUI 9.0 (9.0.0.110 beta build) will introduce latest Android 9.0 Pie and whole new user settings.
Honor Play Starts Receiving EMUI 9.0 Based On Android Pie
The EMUI 9.0 build version will be either COR-L29C185E303R1P8B115 or COR-L29C432E303R1P8B110 which will depend on the Honor Play device unit. The new Android Pie beta update will bring native Adaptive Battery and Brightness, Android Digital Wellbeing Dashboard, GPU Turbo 2.0, swipe gestures navigations, recent UI tab and more. This update will also include the latest September or October Security Patch as well.
Hence, this is a beta version of the Pie, it will definitely have some bugs or stability issues regarding system or performance. So, if you’re not a blind lover of all the beta versions then wait for the final stable release by the end of this year. The Honor Play is a very powerful device so the Android Pie user experience will be enhanced than the Android Oreo build for sure. Wait for the beta update as well officially if you want to try this beta build.
