This statement seems so obsolete in current times, with Apple amid much fanfare and after numerous leaks over the last year, the launched the much awaited 2018 iPhone lineup landed today at the Steve Jobs theatre, Apple Park, with one the devices, the iPhone XS Max having a screen size of whopping 6.5- inches.

The iPhone XS Max sports the A12 Bionic SoC designed by Apple in-house which features a neural engine capable of performing 8 billion calculations per second better performance than the ones found in last year’s iPhones. They also carry the second- generation of Apple’s in-house GPU, which delivers 50 percent better performance than its predecessors.
The iPhone XS Max comes with FaceID support for unlocking the device This time Apple has further improved the security level of the technology behind FaceID, incorporating ML also, in order to improve the security.
Apple has given a combination of 12 MP and 12MP camera sensor combination at the back. At the front, a 7MP camera has been provided for the video calling and this crisp selfies.
The iPhone XS Max would come with support for Apple Pencil out of the box, giving Apple the device to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note and its famous S- Pen.
iPhone XS Max would be available in the storage options of 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Making it the only device other than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to come in a 512GB variant.
This time Apple has gone released a Gold color for the iPhone also, with the other options being the black and silver color variants, that Apple released with the iPhone X.
The Gold color, it seems would become the new trend that would be soon adopted by other manufacturers worldwide.
The iPhone XS Max would come with iOS 12 out of the box.
The iPhone XS Max would be up for pre-orders from 17 October for a price of $1099.
