From the last few months of 2017 news about Android Oreo updates rolling out for various devices where revolving through tech forums. The trend is still following even after few months of 2018. The Android Oreo updates are still reaching different devices from various manufacturers. New reports suggest that the HTC 10 is currently receiving the Android Oreo update as Over the Air or OTA.
An official announcement from HTC has recently come as the update will be rolling out for devices in India and Singapore as OTA. The same devices from the USA had already received the same updates a few weeks before. The users from other regions were still kept on wait and users of HTC 10 from India and Singapore can finally be happy.

Another HTC device the U11 had already received the Oreo update on these two regions. The update in HTC U11 bough in features like Picture in picture mode, autofill, notification dots and lot more. The current update on HTC 10 comes with a version number of 3.16.617.2 and weigh around 1.32 GB.
The update is expected to reach out to more regions in Asia soon. Only unlocked handsets will be receiving the new update in all regions. Although the update will bring in most of the Oreo goodies, HTC for some reason hasn’t added the latest security patch. The update includes the old December security patch from Android which looks a bit strange.
The users from India and Singapore regions can expect the OTA update anytime soon. While other regions might have to wait until a notification arrives for their region.
