LG is one of the smartphone manufacturers which has been traditionally launching its smartphones at the MWC which will be held later this month in Barcelona. Now, as far the last MWC is concerned, LG launched the LG G6 which was the flagship smartphone from the company in the LG G series of 2017. Now, as far as the next release of flagship smartphone is concerned, we are starting to get some information on its potential release date as well as price. For starters, we would like to inform you that LG will not be launching the LG G7 at MWC 2018, as per the rumors.
Rather, the company will launch LG V30s which is an upgraded version of LG V30 with some additional artificial intelligence capabilities. Now, we have also heard that the company is planning to scrap the LG G series of smartphones so we will most likely not be getting the a smartphone named as LG G7. However, the company is rumored to be working on the LG G6 successor and this smartphone has been codenamed as the LG Judy. As far as the LG Judy’s rumored specifications are concerned, we will see a 6.1-inch MLCD+ screen on the smartphone with minimal bezels.
Apart from that, the smartphone will have Snapdragon 845 processor to power the device and it is expected to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Along with that, the LG Judy will have IP68 water resistance and dual cameras on the back along with boombox speakers. In terms of release date, the smartphone is expected to be launched by LG in June 2018. Apart from that, the smartphone will be launched at a price similar to the LG G6 but there are no exact details in terms of pricing yet. Stay tuned to know more about the LG Judy.
