Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer which has had a huge positive impact in the smartphone industry worldwide including India has been launching smartphones in its flagship and mid-range segment every year. Now, we have known that the company launched its flagship smartphones last year in the Vivo X series and the smartphones have been fairly successful in various markets around the world. Talking about Vivo smartphones, the major selling point here is the selfie prowess that its smartphones possess that sets it apart from the other smartphones in the similar price range.
Now, we have seen the company launch many smartphones in the last year and we have also seen the company launch the first-ever smartphone with a fingerprint sensor beneath the display which will be seen in many flagship smartphones from major OEMs this year. However, the company also launched several other smartphones also. All of these smartphones from Vivo were launched with Android Nougat which has now become an year old version of Android as its successor was released by Google last year. The next version of Android has been named as Android Oreo and the update is already available for the Google Pixel and Nexus smartphones all over the world.
Now, Vivo has also been planning to release the Android Oreo update for its flagship smartphones and we have received a list of smartphones that will be getting the Android Oreo update officially by April of this year. This update will arrive with the latest version of Vivo’s custom Android skin named as Funtouch OS and the devices confirmed to be getting the update are as below:
