Samsung has been releasing the Galaxy S series of smartphones every year and same was the case this year also as the company released the latest version of the Galaxy S series of smartphones with the launch of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+. These smartphones were the flagship phones from the company until the Galaxy Note 8 was released earlier this year after the Galaxy S8. Talking about the Galaxy S8 series from Samsung, the smartphones were among the first ones to come with a bezel-less display which has become a trend with every flagship smartphone from different companies that has been launched after that.
Now, we have also known that the latest version of Android was released by Google which has been named as Android 8.0 Oreo. The latest version of Android, however, is only available for the Google Pixel and Nexus devices. Although, this is about to change as Samsung has confirmed that they have started to roll out the Android 8.0 Oreo beta update for their Galaxy S8 smartphones. This rollout is limited to USA, Korea, and the UK. Now, the users who have installed the beta update on their smartphones have extracted Oreo build from the Galaxy S8 and made them available for the users around the world.
Now, one thing that you should note before heading to the download section is that this ROM can only be installed via TWRP recovery so you should not try this if you do not have a custom recovery installed on your phone. Apart from that, this ROM is only available for the Galaxy S8 smartphones that have model SM-G950F. If you are using this variant of the Galaxy S8 then you can install this ROM via TWRP with the build number G950FXXU1ZQJJ. Note that this is an extracted build of the beta update so there are some bugs that should be expected from this build so proceed with the installation only if you the risks involved.
