Asus has recently released two new tablets in its tablet range of devices in its Zenpad lineup. As far as the Zenpad lineup from Asus is concerned, the Zenpad 3 tablets have been released this year which are the successors to the last year’s Zenpad 2 lineup. The two new tablets are the Zenpad 3 8.0 which is an 8-inch tablet from the company as well as the Zenpad 3S 10 which is a 10-inch tablet and the bigger version of the Zenpad 3 8.0. Now, both the recently released tablets are receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update from the company which is good as the company had promised the Android Nougat update when the devices were released as they were not launched with the latest updates.
Now, as far as the updates to the tablets are concerned, the company has confirmed that the update has been released on June 12 starting 3 PM (JST) for the ZenPad 3S 10 as well as the ZenPad 3 8.0. Now, talking about the update size, we have to note that the update is big in size as the Android Nougat update is a significant improvement from Android Marshmallow. The Android Nougat update brings the ability to reply to messages directly from the notifications itself without having to open the specific application. Also, the notification shade has also been improved on Nougat.Other features include switchable display size (DPI), easier switching of display language, and the like.
As far as the update is concerned, the tablets will get the update as an OTA which we already know have been released by the company so it would reach your device in the coming days. Also, the update should be installed when the battery on your device is above 50 percent as the update will take some battery consumption to install on your device.Also, make sure to download the update quickly as it contains the latest Android update.
