Meizu has been long awaited to rollout the Android Nougat update to all of their devices which have been launched recently. In particular, the latest Meizu Pro, as well as the Meizu Pro 6S, have been left out to receive the Android Nougat update officially to their devices. However, now we have reports which suggest that the Meizu devices will get the update as the closed beta of the FlymeOS 7 has been made available for both the devices. Also, we have known that the FlymeOS 7 is coming to other Meizu devices as well in the coming days but there has been no news about the list of other devices yet.
Now, talking about the closed beta for the Meizu Pro and the Meizu Pro 6S, the users of the device will have to register their device on the company’s official website with correct details about the device which include the model number and the region where you device is currently operated from as well as other details which can be found on the official website. Talking about the build number with the update, the Meizu Pro and Pro 6S will get the update as version 6.7.7.10 under the name Flyme 6.7.7.10 Daily. Also, the update is big in size as the update comes at 1.4GB.
Talking about the update, you should get the update to your device as an OTA as soon as you register for the closed beta on the official website from the company which has been set up for the registration process of the devices. The company has specifically requested its users not to root and modify their devices as it hampers with the logging process. Also, you should expect some bugs with the update as the update is still in the closed beta and the device may not function normally so proceed if you know the risks involved in the process.
