ZTE has recently released a new smartwatch which was named as ZTE Quartz. The latest smartwatch from ZTE runs Android as its operating system which for the smartwatches is known as Android Wear. We have also recently known that Google has released an incremental update to the smartwatch OS, Android Wear and after the update, the Android Wear version has now been up to version 2.0. Many of the major smartwatches have been getting the Android Wear 2.0 update and the ZTE Quartz is also expected to get the update soon but the company has released a separate update, which, although is not the Wear 2.0 update but brings many improvements to the smartwatch.
First of all, the update is arriving in the ZTE Quartz with the build 20F, the update brings along with it a bunch of fixes to the smartwatch’s software. We have received reports that the OTA improves the Bluetooth connectivity and synchronization of the ZTE Quartz. We have also known that the new OTA update brings the latest Google security patch to the smartwatch for improved security of the smartwatch. In addition, with the update, you also get performance improvements alongside the usual bug fixes.
Now, regarding the update and when can it arrive on the phone, we have known that the ZTE Quartz all around the world is getting the update but the update could be rolled out in stages so your smartwatch may be getting the update sooner or later but do make sure to download and install the update as soon as possible because the update brings with it the latest security patch from Google as well as various fixes so the update is highly recommended. Also, make sure to check your ZTE Quartz for the update by heading over to device’s settings and download the update if it is available on your smartwatch.
