Xiaomi recently rolled out MIUI 10 Beta version 8.11.15 for the Indian variants for some bug fixes. Now the company announced official Android 9 Pie update changelog for Mi Max 3 device. While the Redmi 5 has updated to Android 8.1 Oreo. However, there is no confirmation about whether Mi Max 3 will get a stable or beta release.
Android Pie is Coming to Mi Max 3
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was launched in July of the 2018 year and sports a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The handset is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with a 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with a 64GB internal storage variant and can be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card. On the rear, the device sports a dual 12MP+5MP rear camera with a flash and a single 8MP selfie shooter.

The Mi Max 3 is packed with a 5,500mAh battery with fast charging capacity. It runs on Android Oreo over MIUI out of the box. The handset will soon get Android 9.0 Pie update by the end of this year. It’s expected that the device could get MIUI 10 version 8.11.22 update via an OTA very soon. The Android Pie update will bring adaptive brightness and battery, swipe navigation gestures, redesigned notification panel, new UI, volume controls, app slices, app timer, digital wellbeing etc.
