Xiaomi, the smartphone manufacturer from China has been launching many smartphones from the past few years in the markets other than China first and the main markets among these is India where Xiaomi has been doing global smartphone launches. The smartphones that were globally launched by Xiaomi in India include the Xiaomi Mi A1, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro among others. Now, as far as the Redmi Note 5 Pro is concerned, Xiaomi is now ready to release the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in Chinese markets as the Redmi Note 5.
Now, we have known that the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched earlier in India by the company and the smartphone has seen tremendous response from the Xiaomi fans as well as smartphone enthusiasts and the company is having a hard time to keep up the supplies with the demand even during the flash sales. Now, we have known that the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a dual camera setup on the back unlike the Redmi Note 5 which only has a single camera. Also, it is known that the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset which is the first time ever that any smartphone comes with this processor.

Talking about the Chinese launch of the Redmi Note 5, we have known that Xiaomi is only going to launch the Redmi Note 5 in China which is the same variant as the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. All of the features and specifications of the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched globally will be seen on the Redmi Note 5 which is going to be launched soon. One thing to note, however, is that the Redmi Note 5 in China is expected to be released with Android 8.1 Oreo whereas the Redmi Note 5 Pro still runs Android 7.1 Nougat. However, we would expect to see the Android 8.1 Oreo update on the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India very soon after the Chinese Redmi Note 5 launch.
