Vivo has recently launched the Vivo V5 as well as the Vivo V5s in India. The company also recently launched the Vivo V5s Matte Black edition at the same time when the Midnight Black variant of the OnePlus 3T was released. The Vivo V5s has been available for sale in India and now, the company has launched the Matte Black edition of the smartphone for the Malaysian market. Vivo V5s which is the selfie-centric smartphone from Vivo is being sold in the country in Matte Black color via DirectD.
Looking at the specifications of the Vivo V5s Matte Black, the internals of the device are exactly the same as the Vivo V5s so we know that there is just a fresh coat of paint applied to the device and nothing else has changed. If we have a look at the Vivo V5s, the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch HD display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. The Vivo V5S draws its fuel from a 3000mAh non-removable battery and runs Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
Vivo has also revealed the pricing details of the Vivo V5s in the Malaysian market and the smartphone will be available for purchase for a price of RM 1299 which comes down to approximately Rs. 20,000 as per Indian currency. One thing to note here is that Vivo had launched the V5s here in India at Rs. 18,999 which is even less than the Malaysian pricing of the device.
