The Verizon Moto G4 Play has started getting a software update with latest June Security Patch In the UnitedStates.This OTA Update comes with build number MPIS24.241-2.35-1-17.This is not a nougat update.The device is still running on Android Marshmallow.
This new update brings device stability improvements, bug fixes and Performance improvements as well.However, the great news is that Lenovo has already started working on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for the Moto G4 Play and In Brazil, Moto G4 Play has received the Nougat Update.So we may get the official Nougat update For Verizon Moto G4 Play in coming weeks.
