Samsung has recently released updates to all the smartphones in its network whether it is the flagship smartphone for the company or the mid-range smartphone. The flagship smartphone from Samsung for this year, the Galaxy S8 has already received the June security patch all around the world along with various other devices including the Galaxy S7 as well as Galaxy J3, J5 and J7. However, the Samsung Galaxy S8 devices on the T-Mobile network were left out from the June security patch update due to the delay in update rollout from the carrier.
Now, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones on the T-Mobile network too are getting the updates which installs the June security patch on the device. Talking about the update, the June security patch on the Galaxy S8 from T-Mobile comes with build number G950USQU1AQFJ whereas the Galaxy S8+ is getting the update with build G955USQU1AQFJ. Talking about the changes that have been made to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ after the update, the new OTA brings the latest June security patch update to the smartphone which will increase the device’s security. The changelog also adds that a new feature has been added to the device in the new update which enables users to show/hide the navigation bar in order to see the screen without the navigation bar on their Galaxy S8. For this, a new navigation bar has been added which can be accessed from the left-hand side of the navigation bar.
Apart from the changes, the update will bring the regular bug fixes as well as improvements to the phone as well which can be expected from every new OTA update release.
