Sony has started to release the latest security patch update which was released by Google to their Pixel and Nexus devices yesterday. The latest security patch from the company is the August security patch. The Sony devices which have started to receive the update are the Sony Xperia X, Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Performance. As far as the August security patch is concerned, it is the latest security patch released by Google in the company’s effort to make the Android OS secure by releasing patch updates to improve the security of the Android devices.
Talking about the updates on the Sony Xperia smartphones by the company, the has released a new software update 34.3.A.0.217 for Xperia X. The company has also released update 41.2.A.7.53 for Xperia XZ Premium and X Performance. The update comes with Android August security patch which addresses Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS. Apart from that, you should expect to see lots of stability improvements, as well as device performance improvements with the newer update as the new OTA updates, brings some bug fixes to the devices.
