Samsung has been recently launching new device every month. We have seen that the Samsung’s flagship smartphones for this year, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ were launched. Both the smartphones have been creating sales records and the smartphones are already doubled in popularity then the last year’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Samsung also launched the mid-range smartphones for this year in its Galaxy J series. In the J series, Samsung launched the Galaxy J3, J5 and J7 2017 where the Galaxy J7 2017 has the highest specs of all the three smartphones. Now, the Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 is coming to Korea and the company has revealed the launch date of the smartphone as well.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy J5 2017 will be launched in Korea on July 4 and the smartphone will be available in the country via three mobile communication. Talking about the specification of the Galaxy J5 2017, the smartphone features a full metal body with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD display. Inside, it is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core in-house Exynos 7870 chipset. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Also, the camera on the phone is a 13MP f/1.7 rear camera and a 13MP f/1.9 front-facing snapper. The battery on the smartphone is 3000mAh and the smartphone runs the latest Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Also, we have received the details of the pricing of the smartphone in Korea. As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy J5 2017 will be sold in the country via three mobile communication and the smartphone will be available for 344,300 Won. One thing to note here is, Samsung has also announced that the Galaxy J5 2017 is the first smartphone from Samsung to be sold at such a low price which is approximately equal to $300 in the international markets.
