Samsung has been releasing quite a few smartphones lately with the Galaxy S8 and S8+ recently launched by the company which are the flagship smartphones for this year. Also, the flagship smartphones from Samsung have also received the June security patch which is the latest security patch from Google. The Samsung Galaxy S8, as well as S7 and the Galaxy Note 4 as well as Note 5, have already received the June security patch. Now, Samsung is rolling out the June security patch update to two new phones in their lineup, The Galaxy Xcover 4 and the Galaxy A7 of 2016.
The June update arrives as build number G390FXXU1AQF8 for Galaxy Xcover 4 and A7100ZCU1BQF1 for Galaxy A7 2016. As far as the update is concerned, the June security patch takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. The update includes various other under-the-hood performance improvements as well as other minor system enhancements too. We have already known that the June security patch has fixed many security issues from the last security patch like the WannaCry attack as well as the various ransomware attacks.
Now, talking about the update, the June security patch has been released by Samsung to the Galaxy Xcover 4 and the Galaxy A7 2016 and the update will come to the device as an OTA update. However, do note that the update can take some time to come to your device. If you want to check for the update manually then you can go to your device’s settings and check for updates. Also, before downloading the update to your phone, make sure that you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network so that the update can be downloaded and installed properly.
