With their competitors launching smart speakers, Samsung doesn’t seem like stopping. There have been reports about Samsung working on a smart speaker which will come with their smart assistant Bixby. New reports suggest that the new device from Samsung can be expected to be launched by the second half of 2018.
The new news about the Bixby speaker was reported by Wall Street Journal. But the details about the exact date of launch, price, and other specifications are not known yet. There has been no official announcement from Samsung about the new speakers yet. But with Google and Amazon with smart speakers on the market, Samsung will probably come with a new one soon.

But with Apple and Amazon heavily competing in the market, Samsung will have to use new strategies to win the market. More companies including Facebook are reportedly working on similar products. So the market of smart speakers will get really competitive in the coming feature. Based on the movements from Samsung, the new device will be placed on the premium market. Chances of a cheap device from Samsung is really low.
Anyway, we will still have to wait for months to get an insight of the Bixby speakers. During this time we can also expect new companies to come up with similar products.
