We have now known that when it comes to releasing software updates on their devices, Samsung has been one of the quickest OEMs by far. We have known that Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have been released by Samsung recently. Samsung has already released updates to their devices with several big fixes and performance improvements. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus on T-mobile as well as Verizon network are now receiving a new software update which brings along a bunch of new features.
Arriving with the builds G950USQU1AQEF and G955USQU1AQEF on both Verizon and T-Mobile, the update brings support for Android Pay to both the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively. Which means you can now add your credit, debit, loyalty, and gift cards to the Android Pay and start paying right away for all the online purchases you make. The update also brings a few Bixby improvements including easy access to Bixby Vision and Remainder to Verizon and T-Mobile Galaxy S8 and S8+ handsets. Also, all of your personal Bixby experiences are now tied to a single Samsung account ID.
As far as the update is concerned, the carriers have already sent out the OTA update to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus devices in the US. If you still haven’t got the update then you can head over to the Settings app on your device to check for the update. Also, make sure to download the update over a stable WiFi network as the update should be downloaded fully and not in parts. Also, the battery on your device should be at least above 50% to make sure that you have enough battery left on your device after the installation of the update as well. Lastly, make sure to download the update whenever it comes to your device as it is highly recommended by Samsung.
