Now, the Galaxy S7 Active is getting a new update from Samsung which installs the latest security patch update to the phone.
Talking about the security patch update, the security patch is dated for July 5 which is known as the July security patch and it was released by Google in the beginning of the month of July. The July security patch update fixes some critical issues that proved to be a threat to the security of the Android phones around the world. Now, as far as the update is concerned, the Galaxy S7 Active is getting the update as an OTA which will come to the device automatically. The size of the update is 43MB and the OTA comes with the build number G891AUCS2BQG1. In order to be eligible to receive the update, you should have the last build on your phone and you should see the OTA for this update.
