Samsung has launched the Galaxy S8 as well as the S8 Plus earlier this year and the phones have been received quite well. Samsung has also been preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which is the successor to the Galaxy Note 7. Talking about the Galaxy Note series, Samsung has released a new update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with the June security patch and the OTA also comes with various bug fixes as well as stability improvements.
Arriving with the software version N910CXXS2DQF6, the update installs the latest security patch (i.e., June) on the smartphone. As is the case with any security patch, the update contains several bug fixes, stability and performance improvements. As mentioned above, the update has already been seeded over-the-air (OTA). So it may reach you any moment. However, if you can’t wait, head straight to the Settings menu then About Phone and then Software Updates to check for the update manually. Also, it’s always recommended to keep a backup of your personal data handy just in case things go wrong while installing the update. And as usual, switch to a Wi-Fi network before installing the update to avoid unnecessary data charges.
Talking about the update, the device which was released in 2014 by Samsung is now receiving the latest Android security patch which is the June security patch. We have not known about the update being received to any of the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 but we have known for sure that the company is now rolling out the update to the Galaxy Note 4. This update is also highly recommended as the update will bring the latest security patch to the phone and this will make the phone more secure as the June security patch is known to solve the many vulnerabilities in Android.
