Samsung has begun rolling out the June 2025 software update to its mid-range Galaxy A series phones, the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G, in Europe as firmware versions A366BXXU2AYE3 for the A36 5G and A266BXXU3AYE6 for the A26 5G.

The update brings enhanced system security and stability improvements, with the Galaxy A26 5G receiving the June 2025 security patch and the Galaxy A36 5G still awaiting its April 2025 patch level update.

Availability

The update is currently rolling out in Europe, with early availability in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. Samsung plans to expand the rollout to additional European and non-European markets in the coming days.

How to Install

To manually check for and install the update, go to Settings» Software update» Download and install on your device. Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi and have sufficient battery before beginning the installation process.

Seamless Update Support

The Galaxy A36 5G supports Samsung’s seamless update feature, allowing the firmware to download and install in the background without interrupting daily use. In contrast, the Galaxy A26 5G does not support seamless updates, so the installation requires manual initiation.
