We have been waiting for the launch of the OnePlus 5 smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus. The company has already shared many teaser about the phone like the teaser where the company revealed the name of the phone which will be the OnePlus 5 and also the launch date which will be Summer this year. We have also known that the device is gearing up to be the best smartphone of 2017. This is because of the specifications of the phone which include a dual camera setup along with many more features.
In a blog post made by OnePlus, the company announced that they are partnering with DxO which is the parent company of the very famous, DxOMark which is famous for scoring the device cameras based on varying conditions. Last year, the Google Pixel scored a DxOMark score of 89 which, at that time, was the highest score of any smartphone. Just recently, we saw that the HTC U 11 scored a DxOMark score of 90 dethroning the Pixel. This meant that the DxOMark score is now a benchmark of the camera quality on the phone and it is highly respected. Google used the Pixel’s DxOMark score in their launch presentation as well which shows its importance. This means that we will be seeing some great scores for the OnePlus 5 as the company will be giving its inputs on camera quality in the OnePlus 5. This could also mean that the OnePlus 5 could achieve the highest score on DxOMark.
We're proud to announce that we'll be working with @DxOLabs to improve the photography experience of the #OnePlus5. https://t.co/rccJWStjQi pic.twitter.com/TwQ3fCdblt

We have also got some rumors which suggest that the OnePlus 5 could feature a dual camera setup on the front as well as the back of the phone which could really make it a flagship killer of 2017. The price of the OnePlus 5 is expected to be up than its predecessor but if the features are present on the phone then the price doesn’t make any difference.
