The OnePlus 6T flagship device just launched three days ago on October 29 and already gets an OTA update for the first time. The leaked reports confirmed that reviewers unit already gets an OTA update which brings some system improvements and bug fixes.
OnePlus 6T Rolling Out OxygenOS 9.0.4
Starting with the security patch update, OnePlus is so much focused on providing updates regarding the latest security patches and the latest Android versions as well. The device now gets an update with latest November security patch and latest OxygenOS version 9.0.4 as well. This update promises to deliver better camera improvements like studio lighting effect while capturing portrait shots and Night Scape mode.
OxygenOS is quite faster like stock Android and closer to customizable UI. The recent apps and navigation gestures are already so much smoother and faster than others. The recent OxygenOS 9.0.4 update also improves new navigation gestures, improved screen unlock, power consumption etc. However, the exact update size and availability to retail units is still unknown. It could take some time to roll out the update. You can also try to check manually from the ‘software update’ option also.
