OnePlus has been releasing newer flagship smartphones every year and the company made its name in the very first year when the company launched its first smartphone named as the OnePlus One which was available on an invite-based system which also helped market the smartphone more and more. Now, we have also known that the company has been launching flagship smartphones every successive year and the latest flagship smartphones from OnePlus were named as the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. As far as the last year’s smartphone launches were concerned, the OnePlus 5T was released by the company in just six months after the release of the OnePlus 5.

Now, same will be the case with the OnePlus 6 from OnePlus as well as it has barely been 4 months since the launch of the OnePlus 5T and we are already starting to get renders, images as well as leaks regarding the next smartphone from OnePlus. As far as the OnePlus 6 is concerned, we should expect to see a notch on top of the display and there are now reports which confirm the same as well. The guys at XDA-Developers have now found a firmware file which gives evidence of the notch being present on the OnePlus 6.
The latest OxygenOS beta released for OnePlus 5T contains the overlay image attached above which shows that the display will have a cutout so as to optimize the apps for this cutout. Apart from that, the codename of the OnePlus 6 has also been found out.
As far as the codename of the OnePlus 6 is concerned, the device is expected to be called as “enchilada” which comes after the OnePlus 5T was codenamed as “dumpling”, OnePlus 5 as “cheeseburger” and OnePlus One being codenamed as “bacon”. As far as the OnePlus 6 is concerned, the device is expected to be released in June.
