OnePlus is the most anticipated smartphone from OnePlus after the OnePlus 3/T which were released last year. OnePlus 5 is confirmed to be released on June 20 worldwide and on June 22 in India from OnePlus itself. OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will come with Snapdragon 835 processor as well as dual rear cameras but other details had not been revealed yet. However, that is not the case anymore as the official specs of the OnePlus 5 have been revealed via a GFXBench listing which shows a smartphone named as OnePlus A5000.
Recently, Amazon India accidentally revealed the specs of the upcoming OnePlus 5. The source code of the launch page of OnePlus 5, where Amazon India had put up the specs before the official launch revealed 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.35Ghz. This has been seemingly confirmed as the GFXBench listing also states that the OnePlus’ Snapdragon 835 processor will be clocked at 2.4GHz and will feature 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. As for other specs, the OnePlus 5 will flaunt 5.5inch display with a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. As for the camera specs, the rear camera will feature dual camera which would be 16MP dual rear camera. On the front side also, the device will feature 16MP camera but it would be single camera. OnePlus 5 will run on Android 7.1.1 out of the box and support NFC and 4K video recording for rear camera.
Other details of the OnePlus 5 include the pricing information which was leaked yesterday. According to the reports, the 6GB RAM variant which consists of 64 GB of internal storage will cost Rs.32,999 in India whereas the 8 GB and 128 GB internal storage variant of the OnePlus 5 will cost around Rs. 37,999 in India. Also known is that the OnePlus 5 will be available for sale in India just after the launch event which is scheduled for June 22.
