OnePlus has recently launched the OnePlus 5 in the US on June 20 and the company has also launched the OnePlus 5 in India. The OnePlus 5 has been widely appreciated by the fans as well as reviewers for its outstanding specifications at a lower price than its competitors. Now, the OnePlus 5, just two days after the global launch has received an OTA update which bumps the OxygenOS version to 4.5.1. One thing to note is that the OxygenOS 4.5.1 is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the OnePlus 5 came with OxygenOS 4.5.0 out-of-the-box.
The new update has been tagged as OxygenOS 4.5.1 (7.1.1) and it will arrive as an over-the-air (OTA) update as soon as customers boot up their new OnePlus 5 smartphones. This new update will bring changes to the camera, increase Bluetooth stability, optimise the network stability and also the system stability. The update will also make the OnePlus 5 compatible with 3rd party apps. The app has a total size of 158 MB. Also worth noting is that the update has been received on the OnePlus 5 smartphones in the US which were sold in the early drop sale of OnePlus 5 whereas the Indian customers will have to update their phones manually as the OnePlus 5 will be available on OxygenOS 4.5.0.

The OnePlus 5 has been recently launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB internal memory and dual nano SIM. Also, the OnePlus 5 has a 3300mAH lithium-ion battery with Dash Charge technology.
