We have recently seen that OnePlus has announced the launch date of its next flagship phone which is the OnePlus 5. OnePlus 5 will be the successor to the ever-popular OnePlus 3/T which were released by OnePlus last year. OnePlus has been trying to provide speedy updates to the owners of the OnePlus 3/T and the company is trying hard to give the updates to its users as well. Now, we have known that the OnePlus 3/T are receiving the OxygenOS 4.1.5 update to their devices.
There are big improvements to this update than the OxygenOS 4.1.4 which was recently released by OnePlus. The first big addition is that now the company has added system push notifications for important information from OnePlus. There have been updated network settings for select carriers as well which was not present on the previous version. Also, the OxygenOS 4.1.5 update brings the latest May security patch to the OnePlus 3/T and the security patch version is May 1. There have been other improvements to the OnePlus 3/T in Battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS, Camera light focus and expanded screenshots.
Also there have been some bug fixes in this update as well. The storage issue that was present in this version has now been fixed by the latest update. Also, the VoLTE issue on certain Jio SIM cards has also been taken care of. There have been improvements for those as well who use Android Auto. The connection issue on Android Auto have been fixed in this update. The update, as usual, is being rolled out to the users incrementally. Meaning, not all the OnePlus 3 and 3T users will receive the update at the same time. Some of you may receive the OTA right away, while it might take a while for the update to hit some of the other devices. But, there’s nothing to worry about. All the users will eventually get the update.
