Lenovo-owned Motorola brand is one of the leading smartphone companies and has a wide range of users. While from a few years, their devices didn’t come with that specification features or the latest updates which we expect. The Motorola devices come with decent specifications at a quite decent price tag. Motorola Rolls Out Android 9 Pie on the Moto G6 Plus
Motorola has selected the Moto G6 Plus device first to roll out the official OTA update soon. The update will come with latest December Security Patch along with Android 9.0 Pie version reportedly. The update will bring complete native Pie features like Adaptive Battery & Brightness, Digital Wellbeing, system interface, notifications etc. It could also include swipe gesture navigation option to the handset.

The update is incremental and will be rolled out via batches. So please be patient and wait for the official OTA notification. While you can update your Moto G6 Plus manually to Android 9 Pie version. Follow the mentioned steps:
- Go to device “Settings” menu > “System” > “System Updates”.
- Check for updates (if available) > select “Download and Install”.
- After complete installation, select the “Restart Now” option.
- Wait for a few minutes to boot the device completely.
