Motorola has launched the newest smartphone in the Moto Z series which is the Moto Z2 Play. The Moto Z2 Play is also the next smartphone to be launched in the Moto Z’s budget-friendly lineup after the Moto Z Play. The Moto Z Play was launched alongside the Moto Z Play and the Moto Z2 is also expected to come soon as the Moto Z2 Play has already been launched by the company. As far as the Moto Z2 Play is concerned, the smartphone has already been up for sale in India, China as well as UK and now, the smartphone has been listed on Amazon in the US.
Talking about the Moto Z2 Play from Motorola, the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 placed on top. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor clocked at 2.2GHz which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Apart from that, the Moto Z2 Play has a 12MP primary sensor with PDAF and a 5MP selfie camera. Also, the smartphone has a 3000mAh battery and the smartphone runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Now, talking about the listing of the smartphone on Amazon store in the US, we will have to remember that the Moto Z2 Play has not been launched officially in the US and the Amazon listing also notes the same. The listing is from a third-party seller and the smartphone has been sold at the risk of the buyer. One more thing is the smartphone has been priced much more than the official price from Motorola for the Moto Z2 Play which is $499 in the US and the smartphone from Amazon is available for $599 which is 100 more than the original price so it is better to wait for the official launch.
