While Xiaomi is still providing updates of MIUI 10 Global Stable version OTA to most of their devices, the reports are coming out for the upcoming MIUI 11 custom skin version update. This will be the successor of MIUI 10 which was launched last year and now the leaks and renders are coming for upcoming MIUI version. However, Xiaomi phones don’t get that much faster Android updates and security updates. The company always trying to provide OTA updates of MIUI versions with system improvements at least.
In this post, we will talk about the upcoming MIUI 11 version and the list of expected Xiaomi devices which could get this update in future most probably. However, please keep in mind that the expected list of devices and expected features of MIUI 11 are based on leaks and rumors.
MIUI 11 Expected Features
Currently, we can say that the MIUI 11 is in its first development process and we don’t have any official information regarding the new changes or features. However, based on the leaked reports we can say that as usual, the upcoming MIUI 11 will definitely be smoother and faster than the existing MIUI 10 skin for sure. As we all know, after the stock Android UI only the two custom skins are easy to use and optimized quite well such as OxygenOS from OnePlus and MIUI from Xiaomi.
The newer version of MIUI could also bring a lot of system improvements and optimizations like display and battery optimization, advanced AI support, improved camera UI and features with built-in AI capabilities. It’s also expected to come with notification and system UI changes, recent UI changes, improved gaming booster mode etc. The App Vault UI would be changed with optimized category list, this can also bring the fully dark-mode UI as well.

The future Xiaomi devices which will come with built-in MIUI 11 version, could be expected to receive Android updates quite faster just like Poco F1. The update could also enable the camera2api and bootloader unlock easily like ever before. But we have to stay tuned for that and need to wait to get an official announcement by Xiaomi.

There is no information about the announcement or release date of MIUI 11 officially. However, we can expect the first public beta release in China around June-July month 2019 most probably. While the outdated Xiaomi phones like Mi 5, Mi 4, Mi 4S, Mi 4C, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2 Prime, and RedMi 3 Pro won’t be eligible to get the official future updates anymore.
