Xiaomi has started to roll out MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM to Poco F1 devices officially. The device was launched back in August this year and gets an overwhelmed response from users and critics as well. Still, it’s an affordable flagship device with some great flagship specifications and features. Recently, Xiaomi trolled OnePlus by giving an easy math calculation for the price difference within Poco F1 and OnePlus 6T.
The Poco F1 packed with the Snapdragon 845 SoC with Liquid Cooling Technology with 6GB/8GB of RAM variant. It features a bigger display with a notch, a dual rear camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and almost all the major connectivity and sensors included. The device is running on MIUI 9.6 with Android Oreo out of the box and currently receiving MIUI 10 Global Stable version via OTA update.
Now the MIUI 10 global stable ROM based on Android Oreo as well for the Poco F1 device. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is AI capable so, the ultimate user experience will go to a new higher level after updating into MIUI 10. Xiaomi also provided a pre-loaded Poco Launcher for Poco F1 device which gives the same interface and feel of any stock android app drawer and customization. However, the company is working on the Android Pie update along with Widevine L1 DRM feature.
Some of the Poco F1 users are already got the update and shared the screenshot in the MIUI Forum. However, the update will take some time to roll-out for all the devices. So, all the F1 users will have to wait for some days for the update notification or you can manually check for updates from ‘System Update’ option. The MIUI 10 also includes some Natural Sounds into the system, AI pre-loading etc. As per the reports, the version of this update will be MIUI 10.0.4.0.OEJMIFH and it’s 592MB in size.
The OTA update will bring the latest October 2018 security patch as well.
