Meizu has launched the newest smartphone in its lineup which is the Meizu A5. The Meizu A5 is also the first smartphone in its A series of budget smartphone which comes at a very low price of $105 in the international markets. However, the smartphone has been launched in China and the smartphone has been priced at ¥699. The company has not revealed any details of the smartphone being launched in other markets as well other than China. The Meizu A5 has been launched in three color options: black, gold, and silver.
Talking about the specifications of the Meizu A5, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 294-pixel density and is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It also offers 16GB of inbuilt storage as well with the option to expand further via microSD card (up to 128GB). Also, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and modes like panorama and continuous. There’s also a 5-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture with face exposure enhancements and the company’s smart beauty filters. The smartphone packs a 3060mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE as well. The smartphone has a single camera setup on the back and the pill-shaped home button is located on the front of the phone.
Talking about the connectivity options on the Meizu A5, the smartphone has Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS. Now, as far as the availability of the smartphone is concerned, the smartphone has already been listed on Meizu’s official website and the smartphone has been priced at CNY 699 which is approximately Rs. 6,600 in India but this are just converted from CNY and INR and the pricing of the smartphone could change when it comes to India.
