Apple now rolling out iOS 12.1.1 update to iPhone XR devices. The new update brings some system improvements, Haptic Touch feedback etc. Due to the lack of 3D Touch feature in so-called affordable iPhone XR smartphone, Apple providing the haptic touch feature. As we all know, Apple this time goes with the LCD panel in iPhone XR to reduce extra cost. Whereas, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max still come with OLED display along with 3D Touch feature.
Apple Rolls Out iOS 12.1.1 to iPhone XR With Haptic Touch
The iOS 12.1.1 update has already been provided to all the iPhones along with the tvOS, macOS Mojave, and HomePod devices earlier. In addition, the new update brings improvements for FaceTime interface also. Previously, the iOS 12.1 update changes the UI of FaceTime, so the users found it difficult to switch between front and rear cameras during group calling. Now after the new update, users can easily switch rear camera for clicking images during live FaceTime calling.
The newly added Haptic Touch feedback enables to preview notifications on the lock screen in iOS 12.1.1 version. Meanwhile, Apple also improved the dual SIm and eSIM carrier support expandability to the all latest iPhone devices. The update also fixes a bug regarding the FaceID temporarily unavailable and fixes the bug preventing Voice Memos recordings from uploading to iCloud.
