We have already known that Huawei launched the Huawei P9 last year in its P series of flagship smartphones. The Huawei P10 was first launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year. The smartphone is the traditional flagship phone from the company and features impressive specifications for its price. The Huawei P10 was earlier launched in other parts and now the smartphone has come to the shores of Sri Lanka. One thing to note is that Huawei has released its flagship phones, the P10 and P10 Plus, in Australia. These two devices have earned a place on Huawei’s Australia online page. Huawei plans to sell P10 in the country via two carriers — Vodafone and Optus. The Vodafone store has put the phone for pre-order and is giving a Huawei Watch absolutely free as an offer for the launch of the smartphone.
Huawei P10, the company’s first flagship for the year finally lands on the shores of Sri Lanka. The smartphone showed up on the company’s official Sri Lankan website earlier today. Huawei P10 features a 5.1-inch Full HD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. An in-house octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset powers the device. It packs 4GB of RAM and you can choose between 32GB or 64GB storage variants. Either way, the smartphone allows you to expand the storage up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
There’s a 20MP + 12MP dual camera setup at the back along with phase detection and laser autofocus. We are looking at an 8MP f/1.9 camera at the front. The Huawei P10 runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based Emotion UI 5.1 and draws fuel from a 3,200mAh battery. We have not received the pricing details of the Huawei P10 in the country. Stay tuned as we know more details about the device.
