Huawei had released the Honor 8 last year which was the first smartphone from the company to come with a dual camera setup on the back. Later, the company released the Honor 8 Pro which is an upgraded version of the Huawei Honor 8 and the device also had a dual camera setup on the back same as the original device. Now, we have known that Huawei is rolling out a new software update to its Honor 8 Pro handset over-the-air. As this update has been released as an OTA update, the Honor 8 Pro devices will receive the update in a staged manner and the update will be arriving in all the devices soon.
The update arrives with the software version B130 and brings along a bunch of improvements and bug fixes. For instance, the touch screen sensitivity has been optimized alongside improvements surrounding the screen. Also, the fingerprint navigation has been optimized to provide a better and smoother experience. Then there are improvements in system stability. The update also contains a fix for one of the major bugs which made the screen flicker after unlocking the device by fingerprint. Also, the update weighs in around 313MB in size, so it is advisable to download it via a Wi-Fi network.
Now, if the update comes to your Honor 8 Pro device, make sure to download the update so that you can have a look at all the improvements that have been made to the device in the latest update as the update brings some much-needed improvements like the screen flickering issue after unlocking the device by fingerprint. Also, make sure to take a backup of the phone just in case the update has not been downloaded and installed correctly otherwise you may lose your important data from your device. Lastly, make sure to download the update as it comes to your device.
