Huawei has been pushing hard in the budget segment lately and has now released yet another smartphone in China, the Honor Enjoy 8. It is worthy to note that the Enjoy 8 is the cheapest offering currently but Huawei has put together a decent package here.
Interestingly, the Huawei Enjoy 8 comes in Gold,Pink and Black variants apart from a reflective finish similar to the Honor 9. However, the pink variant is not available at the moment.
Speaking about specifications, the Huawei Enjoy 8 sports a 6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720. As expected with 2018 handsets, it is a tall display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. There is 2.5D glass on top for protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC and comes in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB RAM-ROM configurations. It is interesting to note that there are two SIM slots apart from a dedicated microSD card slot.
As for optics, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of a 13MP primary sensor backed up by a 2MP secondary shooter for Portrait shots. Upfront, we have an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The handset is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
The Enjoy 8 comes with a microUSB port and has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner with support for Face Unlock. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI on top.
The base variant costs ¥1299 (approx Rs.13,400) while the 4GB RAM variant costs ¥1499(approx Rs.15,500).
