The June security patch update also helps the smartphone to be up to date with the latest security enhancements made by Google so that the device does not get harmed by any of the security threats on Android OS. Also, the update arrives as software version 14.1600.1706.19 and is being seeded over the air. As it takes about one week for Asus to complete the auto push, it may take a while to hit your device.
Also, as is the case with every update, the OTA will come to your device whenever the update gets a wider rollout. However, if you want to get the update to your device a little quicker, you may check for the update by going to your device’s settings and check for updates. If the update is available for your device, make sure to download the update and install it as soon as possible as the update will strengthen the security of your device.
