Talking about the update, the HTC Desire 10 Pro is getting an update which doesn’t include much changes other than the bug fixes as well as system improvements. The update, which is being seeded over the air to HTC Desire 10 Pro, contains important enhancements and stability improvements over the previous build. It also tags along various bug fixes. However, if we look at the update size, the update is fairly large, weighing in at 466MB. Therefore it is advisable to install it over WiFi to save on additional data charges by not going over your current tariff limit.
Also, if you are one of the impatient users of the HTC Desire 10 Pro, then you can manually check for it by heading to Settings >> About Device >> Software update. The OTA update should hit your HTC devices soon, if you haven’t already received the update notification. However, we have observed that HTC has always rolled out their updates in a staged rollout espescially for India so your device will get the update soon. Make sure to charge your battery above 50% to make sure that your installation process of the update goes well and the update gets installed correctly on your device.
