Two days ago, HMD Global released Android Pie update for Nokia 7 and now the Beta Labs released for Nokia 8 device after a long time. The Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas mentioned on Twitter that the patience is over now. Nokia 8 users now can register on Nokia Beta Labs for Android 9 Pie Beta update.
Since the official release of Android Pie, Nokia devices are getting constant updates on all their devices through batches. However, Nokia 8 device could get the update quite earlier but it’s better late than never. The Nokia 7.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 etc devices already running on Google’s latest version.
Nokia 8 Getting Android Pie Beta Via Nokia Beta Labs
If any Nokia 8 users want to get a taste of Android Pie, then they can register on Nokia Beta Labs easily. The update package is around 1575.2 MB in size in terms of beta version. However, the company assured that you will get all the official Android Pie features and improvements in this update.
The Android 9.0 Pie version brings so many features and improvements. Such as Digital Wellbeing, Swipe gesture navigation, app slices, adaptive brightness and battery, recent UI, volume controls, improved notification panel, app timer, and more. If any user finds any bug then they can easily submit the bug report for better stable release.
In addition, if anyone don’t like the beta build then they can easily switch or roll back to Android Oreo. It’s expected to come with the latest security patch as well.
