Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 9.0 Pie OTA update to Mi A2 device in India. Similarly, Motorola also started Android Pie update rolling out to Motorola One Power. The new update will feature all new Android 9 Pie system interface, adaptive battery, and brightness, swipe navigation gestures, slices, app actions, accessibility, screenshot shortcut etc. It also brings November Security Patch with this update. The update size is around 1.7GB.

After the success of Mi A1, Xiaomi launched this year Mi A2 with Android One platform which ensures latest faster Android version updates for two years and latest security patch updates for three years. Previously, Mi A1 got Android Oreo major update but it has some bugs which were fixed later. Again Xiaomi does the same thing and the new update also brings some bugs to Mi A2 devices.

So many Mi A2 users are complaining that after the update, the users are facing poor battery performance and some issues with the fingerprint sensor. Hope Xiaomi will fix this issue very soon. The company has promised last time that Mi A1 will get two major Android updates, but it only got one update. There is no confirmation about the Pie update on Mi A1 yet.
