Xiaomi Poco F1 has received a good amount of attraction and feedback from the customers and critics as well. Recently, the report came that the company is working on the software development and optimization for this particular device along with Widevine L1 DRM support. This will enable the HD video streaming on Netflix and other similar online video streaming platform. The device was launched in August this year at an affordable price tag with flagship-grade specifications. The handset currently running on Android 8.1 Oreo over MIUI 9.6 version.
Xiaomi Poco F1 Bugs Fixes
The Xiaomi Poco F1 also comes with the inbuilt Poco Launcher which is a much-improved app drawer with customizations than normal MIUI device UI. The company promised that the device will get Pie update very soon within a few months. But currently, the device is set to receive the MIUI 10 Global Stable version update within a week. The team is also working with the Gameloft to fix some compatibility issues with Asphalt 8: Airborne and Asphalt 9: Legends game. The PUBG Mobile gameplay is also covering the notch area which is quite awkward for many users as the notch is relatively bigger than usual. This will also be fixed by the end of this year.
The camera optimization is lacking some features in Xiaomi Poco F1 till now like the 4K video recording option at 60fps. The system UI itself lacking some basic features and options like no app icon in the status bar, the issue with “OK Google” voice assistant, battery percentage indicator, delay in registering a touch, and delay in typing input etc.
